CAMERA CATASTROPHY

Somehow over Christmas someone might have lost the battery to our camera. Brandon will be ordering a new one and lets all hope the battery comes before our little BOY!
For all those who don't know I am scheduled for a C-section Monday January 19 @ 12:30!!! The count down has begun. He will share a birthday with his aunt Jenn and we decided on the name KIMBALL DEAN TACKETT. Think of us while you are of playing on Civil Rights Day aka Martin Luther King Day.

She will even open the door for Dottie to come in then close the door and laugh as she locks Dottie out of her own kennel! Chloe loves the "psych out"

My studly spouse ran the Turkey Trot and I am so proud, but we enrolled way late and paid with cash. When we got home to check his time there was never any record of him!!! Something tells me that girl just pocketed the cash and gave him a bogus sensor. We all had fun and I was designated babysitter which I felt can be just as strenuous as a 10K run.

Chloe couldn't figure this one out. It is too steep for her to climb and for some reason she had a tough time using it as a slide. She has her daddy's smile in this photo.
We didn't get many Halloween pics because my camera battery is only good if you charge it after every outing! Even if this isn't the best pic somethings better than nothing.

I can't ride much while pregnant but glad my bike is still getting good use.

Sorry about the long span between updates. My neighbors moved and took their internet with them! (the nerve) Still working on talking Brandon into getting our own, but you know him "why pay for it when everyone we know already has it?". Good thing he is so handsome otherwise this would be grounds for an argument.

Chloe is doing great and loves to make cow and duck noises. She is excellent at waving, loves the word "DAD" and says it all day long. She even calls all the greeters at the stores or anyone out for a smoke break "DAD". I choose to laugh about it rather than have it be awkward. Walking is just on the horizon. Chloe is most motivated while outdoors but can walk about 10' when she is really in her groove. Applause is a must, and if you don't reckognize her accomplishments she will be her own cheerleader until you catch on.

We adore our little girl and this first year has been just MARVELOUS. I really am excited to see her as a BIG sister. Chloe now has half a dozen dolls and is very loving with them. For all who may not know I am having a BOY and am scheduled for deliver Monday, January 19. One of Brandon's top pics is "KIMBALL" and we've been trying it our but still taking suggestions.

We spent a warm weekend in Flagstaff and it wasn't until we were on our way out did it storm. Thought about waiting it out and then decided it was warm enough to just play in it. So much for escaping the heat for a cool weekend in the mountains. :)

FISHING IN FLAGSTAFF

These are the fish we are about to catch and eat!
I caught a fish in 5 sec. FLAT! I've never been very good and staying quiet and being patient for the fish to bite, but with a sure thing like this and no waiting who wouldn't like fishing?!?

CHLOE LOVES G-MA SALLY

G-ma Sally we are all proud of you for attending BYU summer term, but can't wait to have you back in the valley where you belong! Chloe loves her tu-tu and enjoys naked time or minimal dress up. This crazy girl can get out of skirts, pants, and diapers. WARNING do not put her down in just a diaper or you will wake up to a bare bum! (photos not appropriate for blog)

Chloe has not been a BIG fan of her room and can pull in the water works if needed. Dad is a sucker for this and usually takes him an hour and a few attempts to get her to go down. You may be able to see a small tear in her right eye, but her face says differently.

Chloe +1 Daddy 0 ... and the scoring continues.

We haven't really met any food we don't like. Finger foods a best, because she is very self-reliant and wants to do everything herself! (i.e. the undressing) Favorite foods lately... blueberries, gingersnaps, organic cheese puffs, cold green licorice, pretzels, steamed carrots, pizza crust any olives, and really any fruit.

As you can see everyone has taken down my defenses of foods I didn't think she would have until she is over 1 yr old. I try to stick to my guns on processed sugars and she will hopefully not be given soda for many more years! So back off all that already have their own caffiene addictions, please don't pass it on to Chloe. :)
